The 12th annual Fountains 10K Race will be held on Sunday 25th April and we are delighted to retain the honour of being the first race in the 2010 ‘Black Sheep Race Series’. The day is once again being organised by The Friends of Fountains School in association with Ripon Runners.
A warm welcome and a great atmosphere are guaranteed, so why not get involved and join in the fun? Both men and women aged 16 and over are welcome to take part, from novice 10km runners to seasoned athletes.
This mixed terrain route may not be the fastest or flattest but with an impressive 97%* of runners saying that they would do it again, we are sure you will enjoy it too.
The 10km race is centered around the village of Grantley, near Ripon, and is run over a one-lap course on public roads and across scenic moorland within Nidderdale, an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
Entry is via post using the forms below. Spaces are limited and unfortunately, we cannot accept registration on the day so be sure to get your application in nice and early to avoid disappointment.
Fun Run
Please note that Fountains CE Primary School and the Race Committee have decided to move the fun run to the summer and therefore it will no longer be running in tandem with the 10K.
